Troon Golf® selects eighteen golf holes from its portfolio to become a customized version of Box of Golf®
Box of Golf®,Inc. announces that Troon Golf®, the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing, based in Scottsdale, AZ has selected eighteen holes from its portfolio of over 140 golf courses to become a customized deluxe version of Box of Golf® to be known as 18 of the Finest Holes - Troon Golf®
18 of the Finest Holes - Troon Golf® will immortalize eighteen golf holes from eighteen different golf courses in a one-of-a-kind combination. These golf holes have been designed by many well-known golf course designers such as Rees Jones, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Pete Dye, and Tom Weiskopf, just to name a few.
Troon Golf® carefully selected par 3, 4 and 5 holes on this customized Box of Golf® for a total par value of 71 with 7162 yards. Since Box of Golf®is played based on trying to beat par on each hole, this attention to detail that Troon Golf® exercised made this as accurate of a golf course as possible; except this covers a geographic representation that couldn't actually be played in a day;never mind having fun playing these holes in a couple of hours. The golf holes have been chosen from courses in Arizona, Indiana, Colorado, Nevada, Minnesota, Texas, Georgia, California, Mexico and the Bahamas.
All digital imaging for the project has been provided by Best Approach of Mesa, AZ. Based on high resolution digital images, the holes represented in this customized Box of Golf® accurately reflect any obstacles that actually exist, such as water, bunkers, trees and the rough.
Box of Golf® is honored to be able to bring this ensemble together, including nineteen different signature cover images used (one for each represented golf course and an image selected by Troon Golf® for their corporate use). This is a completely customized product based on Troon Golf®'s direction and decisions for look, golf courses and holes included, cover images and distribution into the golf community. Expected completion is August, 2005.
Box of Golf®, Inc. can customize ANY golf course in the world; even a compilation of holes, such as this. It starts with a box, and from there we can do anything. A customized version of Box of Golf® allows for players of the game to remember individual courses they have played, as well as think of specific courses in the future as they are making travel plans.
