Box of Golf Tees Off

Created by avid golfers, Box of Golf mimics the sport of golf without the natural setting. Wind, rain, hills, sand, and poor hitting are a part of the outcome. The game board is handcrafted of cherry hardwood.

Players play against par for nine or 18 holes of golf in order to win gems. The player with the most gems at the end wins.

An upcoming marketing campaign will include national exposure in high-end catalogs, golf course pro shops, off-site golf shops, gift shops, website marketing, and online catalogs, plus retail chains and independent shops, and tournament directors.

Box of Golf tournaments are in the planning stage at some “19th holes” as a way to continue the season. Licensing may be an option, as the company reports that numerous golf clubs have expressed interest in getting their respective courses available for the game—which would involve game inserts. Currently, there are two versions of the game available, a basic set of 8-inch x 15-inch x 3-inch and a deluxe version that is larger sized of 9-inch x 17-inch x 2-inch and plusher.
