Box of Golf Board Game Next Best Thing to Playing 18 Holes
First there was Monopoly. It became the largest selling board game in history. Now, there is “Box of Golf”, the first ever board game that simulate most of the aspects of the real game. It has great potential.
The game is played on boards which have colorful illustrations of 18 holes of golf. A roll of the dice determines the shot and chips are used to account for hazards, wind conditions and other variables. Everything you need to play the game is contained in a beautiful cherry wooden box.
Consider what The Wire had to say about this exciting new product which was introduced at the Golf Show in Orlando, Florida in January.
Call us old school, but we like an old-fashioned die and board game. The game retails for $295, but until you see the intricacies of this game, which hopes to replicate an actual championship course additions in the future, then trust us that it is well worth the dime. These games are handcrafted, including original paintings by renowned artists, David Bowers and Greg LaFever.
As an option to the same old trophy that everyone holds above their heads when they win a golf event, the “Box of Golf” is a wonderful alternative. Because it is a high-end, collectors item, look for it to be given out to the corporate sponsors and their guests at most professional golf events. And, as a gift for the man or woman who has all the clubs and clothing they need, it will be available in most fine golf shops.
